I've never heard of a refurb dealer in Honolulu....well not anymore....the best I've seen is Xerox Honolulu who seems willing to take your old printer as a trade-in on one of their units. However I will point out that their toner can really add up....
The shipping from the west coast isn't too bad, and northern california has MONDO refurb houses...just google search on them.... Or if you have an old workhorse like an HP LaserJet II/III, then take it to someone like Maintec that can refurb it for you...still cheaper than buying a "new" refurb printer. And there are ALOT of LaserJet II's/III's on this island. The last refurb I purchased was $200 and I paid $65 in shipping...and that was for a LaserJet III with postscript cartrige. /brian chee University of Hawaii ICS Dept Advanced Network Computing Lab 1680 East West Road, POST rm 311 Honolulu, HI 96822 808-956-5797 voice, 877-284-1934 fax ----- Original Message ----- From: "Karen Lofstrom" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, January 26, 2004 12:47 PM Subject: [luau] Local source for refurbished printers > > I need a new printer and I'm wondering if there's any local source for > refurbished HP office printers.
