A few active HOSEF members are trying to do just that. I speak as a beneficiary. My 300+ students had never even heard of Linux before. Now, they not only use it, but understand it's a viable alternative. HOSEF has organized events over the next two weekends that will help two more public schools get on the Linux bus (for a total of five).
