Any ideas why my fire console screensaver will not work? When it hits blanktime the monitor just goes 'out of sync range' like no signal. when i do a kldload all i get is "file exists" message. When i use "daemon" it works fine. I tried Makeing the file again but i get message "illegal variable". also i'm using a dell dimension 8300 w/512mb but everytime it reboots BIOS tells me that its in OS install mode and reduces the RAM to 256MB. I turn it off but every reboot it seems to turn itself back on. Advice? BTW this is on FreeBSD 5.2.1 w/ Phenix BIOS. And the kernel is GENERIC.
