Anybody on our list had success with configuring cups on Debian or Fedora? I am trying to help a local admin get all the printers to work under this system. ( He's replacing an existing Win network with Linux !!!)
I use cups with debian and don't have any problems. Has he tried http://localhost:631?
I'll contact him if anybody knows CUPS and he can explain his problem to responders directly.
Specific problems will help. Generally, people have success with cups without even knowing it. Fedora has a great gui, and the kde and gnome desktops on debian each have good config tools.
