Alright, so I need to start putting together stuff for the LoCo session we have scheduled for 1900 on Thursday 13 November 2014: http://summit.ubuntu.com/uos-1411/meeting/22341/latest-developments-in-lubuntu-development/
I would really like it if each of the team leaders could provide something. If you can't be there, that's fine. I'll put together a slide show and talk for you. What I need is content. I plan on using our own template from marketing for the slides: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu/Marketing#LibreOffice_Impress So if you want to just put your own presentation together using the template, that's great. I'll just merge them all together. As for me, I plan on speaking about the following (not in any particular order): 1. PPC - focus on LTS - the latest news on the Radeon issues 2. Testing - general discussion of what testing is - testing in light of LXQt 3. Bugs - bug reports need triaged - just focusing on Lubuntu bugs is a bite sized job Other pieces of news that I think we need to sort of layout for people when talking about development (the boss' job; I'm just suggesting): 1. amd64+mac is gone 2. LXQt is coming 3. 15.04 MAY be available in GTK and Qt formats?? 4. We may or may not have a CD-sized desktop?? Julien: if you need me to put together the slides based on some content you have, I can. Otherwise, feel free to make your own and bring it with you when you talk :) Please include any other ideas or suggestions here. We don't have a ton of time and I also need to put something together for my LoCo!!! -- @wxl Lubuntu Release Manager, Head of QA Ubuntu PPC Point of Contact Ubuntu Oregon LoCo Team Leader -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-admins Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-admins More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
