Hi Ali, if you take a look at http://lubuntu.net/blog you will see that the comms team did announce LXFind & LXScreenshot before OMG:) The mail concerning the Ozone theme arrived about an hour ago from Rafael. As OMG uses ubuntu.net to get information from and subscribes to the lubuntu-mailing list they will source information from both of those.
IMHO, we are not in a 'race' to break news. OMG have, in the past, broken news that has turned out to be incorrect. I do not intend to do that and will always verify any information before I publish it to ubuntu.net. Regards, Phill.
