Hello Ben, Thanks a lot for your email and it is great to read from someone on the list and share some ideas over here :D please, keep them coming. Sounds good idea :) For me, I don't have any account on Twitter nor Reddit, just Facebook and Google+ and not planning to expand my Social Networking Activities at the moment because my current projects and activities keep me busy.
I would suggest to go for it if you have an account over there. IMHO, let's keep our 'official channels' [1] as they are for the time being but I don't mind to have unofficial sites, etc etc. The more, the better. After all, our mission here is to reach to everyone everywhere :D There is someone I know who have an account on Reddit. His name is Daniel McGuire and he is helping me with some projects like WOW Lubuntu. As far as I remember, his email got hacked and I don't have his Email but we are chatting from time to time on Facebook.
