That is totally right, but not in our hands, I think. Everytime
libimobiledevice is updated, Apple changes everything - I have an old
iPhone 3GS which I got for free in an used, but good shape. It worked
with iOS 5, with 6 it doesn't, and now there is iOS 7 where, again, the
implementation needs to be updated.
