Hello StartUbuntu Project members,
Hi,
I am in the process of creating a new IRC channel, as we are technically a part of the Ubuntu IRC network. It will be called #ubuntu-start (instead of #start-ubuntu, as previously stated in the wiki, because the #start- name implies a part of the START network).
While your intention is good, you haven't asked me before you do such a thing? this is not what we, as StartUbuntu Community have agreed on months ago! Also, why would you create a new channel and we do have one? #start-ubuntu was the IRC channel for StartUbuntu and to me, I see no reason why someone should create yet another one? I'm confused?
Communications Teams members, I CC you because you are both instrumental in collaborating with the StartUbuntu project.
Kindly make sure to communicate with me 'first' before you carry on and create anything extra and not needed. Why? to avoid unnecessary confusion!
