Sounds "worst case" for me.

There is no need to follow the autumn colour scheme of Gnome. LXDE is
explicitly not a Gnome flavour, and Xubuntu fell into a Gnome colour scheme
trap.
LXDE used the great NuoveXT as the default Icon set
