I recently installed Lubuntu by method of ubuntu command line install then the lubuntu-desktop packages... I am also the owner / administrator of buntfu.com.
I joined the team today to help the lubuntu project either through suggesting default packages, layout and could offer a lubuntu repository. Let me know how I can help.
