Hi Lane, What I did, after a lot of messing around trying to get things to work, was this:
- Log in to recovery console for root with networking - rm /etc/X11/xorg.conf - apt-get remove nvidia-current - apt-get install xserver-xorg-video-nouveau - reboot I think that put me back to about what I had by default before I used the "Hardware Drivers" program to install the nvidia-current driver.
