Hi again: I've downloaded linux mint lxde (i didnt do it with lubuntu just to try another os) to do as you said and with the live cd the partition mounted perfectly... i found it weird so i rebooted my computer and voila! the splash-screen of lubuntu was there, doing something to my hdd.
Weird thing is that my config files of chromium and my settings to default programs were erased . But good news, my lubuntu is still kicking :) Thanks for the help!! -- jpxsat Ubuntu user #29.157
