Hi! I have just updated my kernel with 2.6.37 version from Ubuntu Kernel PPA ( http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/). And after 10 hours of using it I found that nm-applet was using near 300 Mb. There is confirmed memory-leak in this package ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager-applet/+bug/684599). This bug is opened. So I removed network-manager and switched to wicd. Now I have no such problem. So may be you should do the same in coming Lubuntu Natty or not?
