When moving a bunch of individual files, it doesn't delete them all when it encounters errors. Only when you move a directory, and it encounters an error, it deletes the directory anyhow.
I think the pcmanfm team really wants to release 1.0.1 in a week or so. I have no reason to think they can't fix this bug and include it in 1.0.1. My bug in launchpad was never really looked at. I'm thinking it was a BIG MISTAKE to assume that entering bugs in launchpad would have any positive result.
