In case it plays into this discussion, I've been working on a friend at my local Linux User Group who has Macs of many kinds... he may very soon be donating (or giving me on long term loan) an older PPC Mac, and also has expressed some interest in testing Lubuntu on PPC himself, on another of his older PPC machines. If John Bowen asks to join lubuntu-qa, let him in and please everyone be nice to him :) John is a database programmer by profession, and is smart and friendly, but relatively new to Ubuntu/Lubuntu.
