Yeah as long as you have internet (ethernet) having b43-fwcutter and firmware-b43legacy-installer already installed will allow you to get the firmware. Of course if you have working ethernet connection you could get them with Synaptic.
It is the firmware.. that is missing.. and the firmware that is set-up and installed by those two.
