If you want the firmware I can attach it to an email directly to you. Then you could insert the firmware in the /lib/firmware directory just like in the link I posted in the previous email. I think you need the b43 legacy firmware and i can send it and b43 firmware.. Or you could load them on a different box with synaptic more them to the powerpc box and put them in you /lib/firmware directory.. Reboot and put in your passphrase for your wifi and rock-and-roll.
Even better news here right now; I am in the process of making an install from a live USB on mu PowerBook G4 using todays PowerPc Desktop iso.. I finally got decent graphic after getting the USB started took me a long time, but it looks good. used .. boot usb0/@1:2,\\yaboot at the yaboot boot: live video=radeonfb:1024x768-32@60 I bet I will need at boot: Linux video=radeonfb:1024x768-32@60 to get the install to run clean we will see in about 10 minutes ,, the install is removing files now Notice the live and Linux starts from the kernel line commands.. That had me for awhile. My graphics are as good as precise 12.04 which i install from time to time still. It works like a charm..
