This seems working for me as well with the only slight customization in the video related yaboot option to my screen 1400x900 -32@59,9. I only booted and didn' t install right now. Will try tomorrow (after cleaning a hd).
Just a question regard what Phill said: Do i understand right that means, if you, coding ppc people, do not find a solution without any need of bricolage there will be no release for 12.10 ppc? And, in that case ppc will come to the end with 12.04 LTS?
