Just a small notice which, eventually is worht to be mentioned on some faq: Right now i'm trying to install via alternate lubuntu 12.10 to my PB G4 17". Since, in case of the alternate Greg's OpenFirmware boot commandline did not work, i tried booting keeping down the Option-key and, voilà, the usb-stick appeared within the bootable options. If that is a rule for all OpenFirmware Macs would be easier to direct the people to this (?)
