Firstly, i'm wondering no one else with a Mac noticed a problem with suspend-to-ram and -to-disk ???
Secondly, i thought the best for the Mac is to go back to 12.04. That was working. As for the Samsung, i don't know, since it's new and never saw other than lubuntu 12.10 beta and now, obviously, regular. So, i tried out with a Fedora 17 live usb (which uses some 3.6 kernel flavour) and it was identical (only with way way uglier graphics. Another time, big compliments to the artwork!!): suspend-to-ram failed to come back with the screen, suspend-to-disk shut off hradwarewise the wireless. And so it was with kubuntu 12.10 live. Since Fedora is of "the other riverside but shows the same problem, i'm pretty convinced there might be a problem kernelwise (?) So, what can i do? The Samsung is a kind of ultrabook, very nice, very light and powerful and yes, made to be portable. But without any suspend, portability isn't there . . . :-( Cheers, Uli -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-qa Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-qa More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
