Hi Chad, this is not a 'nag', but a request as to a time scale for the 'usual' Chromium update PPA being back up and kicking. Please don't be mad at me, but for people needing updates owing to bugs etc. I scribbled up a wiki entry [1] which I'm letting people know of for bugs (e.g. [2] ) I do stress that it is a less than perfect solution and am eager to know when we can use a 'standard' PPA and importantly have the releases back-ported to earlier releases.
Thanks for taking up this challenge, Phill. 1. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Lubuntu/Documentation/FAQ/Workarounds#Chromium_not_Updating 2. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-browser/+bug/1035932 On 6 November 2012 15:58, Chad MILLER <chad.mil...@canonical.com> wrote: > > From: Phill Whiteside <phi...@vpolink.com> > > To: mic...@ubuntu.com > > CC: Julien Lavergne <gi...@ubuntu.com>, lubuntu-qa@lists.launchpad.net > > > > Hi, > > > > it is apparent that the SRU / Updates of Chromium have stalled.
