Hi wxl, Not much help I know, but R500 appears to be well supported. <http://www.x.org/wiki/RadeonFeature> VGACON is odd. Any chance an extra onboard GPU is getting detected? lsmod show anything besides radeon like i915? Does dmesg | grep -i drm show anything interesting?
