Hi Lars, 1. Working system with zRAM
I have been running a system with the kernel that Joseph Salisbury gave to us some week ago (3.11.0.7-generic #14~lp1227202v1 SMP Wed Sep 18). I have used it a lot with all memory and limited by the boot option mem. And I use it with zram. It has never frozen for me. It is the host system for KVM, where I make the first tests of new daily builds. 2. Working systems without zRAM When I run the current kernels of the daily builds and switch off zram, the system will not freeze. I can make it slow with heavy swapping, I can close programs and release data from the swap partition etc. Without zram these systems have not frozen for me. I made and uploaded a tarball of Saucybeta2. That system turns off zram automatically and can be used to test other features without the zram freezing problem.
