In the following mail I found the Startup Disk Creator redesign & renaming proposal 2013-11-19 18:05..19:00 in Community 1 http://summit.ubuntu.com/uds-1311/meeting/21985/community-1311-ubuntu-usb-startup-creator/ and volunteered to help developing it. It is close to my 'mkusb', and the efforts could be merged. I guess Nicholas added lubuntu-qa as a member of 'Users of the Ubuntu Etherpad instance' to make the information available for the members of lubuntu-qa.
