I have an Acer Aspire One 0751h on which I installed lubuntu 12.10 a little while ago.
I have just realised (first time I tried to use it away from my home hard-wired LAN) that the WiFi drivers haven't been installed (or at least there appears to be no way to configure the WiFi). What do I need to do to get the WiFi working? There is also a second issue related to this, it takes *ages* to boot when there's no network cable plugged in. This is because there are two *long* timeouts that have to expire before it boots (it shows messages about waiting for network configuration). This seems rather a broken way to work for a netbook/laptop which is very likely to be used without a network connection. -- Chris Green -- Lubuntu-users mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/lubuntu-users
