On the release notes I mentioned that compton may be causing some hesitation to maximize and minimizing of windows. I figured out that my particular compton was very old. Simply because i loaded it manually on my machine. However LXLE has the compton PPA enabled... In other words its the latest greatest up to date compton... After installing this myself, there is no more hesitation.
