Ali, and all:
Yesterday, using a Live-USB created by the (ubuntu repository)
"usb-creator-gtk" package (and the beta2 13.04 Lubuntu system), I
installed a system running the live USB, on my 450 megahertz, 512
megabyte RAM HP-Vectra system.
I did not have to remove the ubiquity slideshow package (as I would have
to do with the live CD for a 512 RAM installation).
I think the difference, is that the usb-creator-gtk package creates a
persistence file for you (if you choose that option), so everything used
doesn't have to reside in a RAM file-system (which uses memory needed
for installation).

Hi,
I didn't get an reply from you guys for two days now :D I hope
everyone is busy with testing ;)
Ok, thanks to Phill who advised to go for the alternate image instead
of the desktop one (i386 for both) and indeed, the alternate image
installation is DONE successfully from the first time :D
I will try one LAST time to install from the desktop image and will
use the same method to create the liveUSB, that is "dd" method. If it
will fail yet again, I think someone needs to have a serious look at
the desktop image.
Will keep you posted ;)

Hi,
I have written everything on my blog with screenshots so there you go:

I hate the same issue previously with the daily image of 18-3-2013 but
that was on Beta1 stage. We are now on Beta2 :(
Lance gave me this link previously:
http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/ubuntu-initrd-bug.html
That didn't help previously to fix the issue.
I'm OUT of idea because this is the first time I have a failure
installation :(
Thank you!
P.S.
Yes, this is a very fresh new installation.
Also note: Lubuntu 12.10 is installed on that very machine and it is
my main OS.
