Hello list,
I've gone to the openbox config file to set keyboard shortcuts and
have created some. My question is how to I creat a shortcut to make
the volume go up and down. I know to put c up but i don't know the
command I need to put in hear for the volume. Any help is greatly
appreciated.
Jonathan:
If, when you install Linux (and you encounter the choice about
installing alongside Windows), you choose "Other" (manual partitioning),
you can have your Windows partition (I'm thinking that's what you mean
by "put c up") mounted in your Linux file-system at "/windows" (or some
other mount point name of your choosing).
But be very careful you don't specify to have it formatted... Just have
it /mounted/, using its existing file-system type (NTFS)...
Then, in the file browser, you can simply have a bookmark to the
partition, or bookmarks to folders within the partition.
You could also do manual editing of "/etc/fstab" to have the Windows
partition mounted when your Linux system boots.
