short answer? No. The image is kept CD sized so that older machines

machines that can, there are various community re-spins of lubuntu /

I very much appreciate that there is still an Ubuntu flavor that can
load from a CD.
When I installed a Linux partition for dual-booting (and testing) on my
MacBook with Mac OS X 10.6, it wouldn't boot from the USB stick, so
Lubuntu was the only version I could install in it, precisely because it
would install from a CD.
