Just be carefull because I reported on a bug that sudo shutdown now on Lubuntu 13.10 daily 20130618 was leading to land at root@lubuntu user. I'm not sure about sudo shutdown -r now... need to test. But be carefull with what you do on your root privileges, ok? Cheers, Iberê
