No. If you use Compiz you can set a "virtual grab zone", which can be bigger than the physical border to make it easy. Openbox doesn't. So keeping a minimal grab handler is necessary. I'm agree that removing is more eye-friendly, but you won't catch any frame at all. Test any other pre-installed box themes and you'll suffer them ;)
