What is the problem with nm-applet running at the same time as xfce4-power-manager? Anyway, I have "Network" disabled there in Desktop Session Settings, but it is running anyway for some reason. I have nm-applet.desktop on both /etc/xdg/autostart/ and ~/.config/autostart/, but nothing in /etc/xdg/lxsession/Lubuntu/ autostart or in ~/.config/lxsession/Lubuntu/autostart
