I've a nice conky running which gives me all infos i need about wire(d)less connections, so, i'd like to not have the nm-applet in the panel bar.
Now, i tried in all ways to avoid this, but i do not succeed. Looked into ~/.config/lxsession/Lubuntu, into /etc/xdg/* etc. but i did not find any way, how to do that. I deleted /etc/xdg/autostart/nm-applet.desktop. But to no result. I suspect the icon in the panel might be related to network-manager-gnome - but i cannot remove this package since lubuntu-desktop depends on it.
