Hi,
It will most definitely be the same version as long as you continue updating it.
You may have such a slow connection that it hangs up. It may be a problem with
that image as well...
You could always try the current image... but it may be good to try to torrent
the image instead, as that can make it go quicker.
If you are using Firefox, you can pause the current download and start a new
download to see if the current image will work.
It may simply be the traffic clogging up your download.
(p.s. post to the whole list so everyone can see your replies, in case they
have specific experience with it)

Its been stuck on 57% for 16 minutes,
the internet is very slow here,
specially on a saturday night when the neighbours are using it too.

  Same problem happened yesterday.

I’m assuming if I do download it from
  http://cdimages.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/daily-live/current/
  which someone just suggested
and install it on the computers
updating it will make it as if I’d waited till the 17th for the release.

  Hi!
Also, George, what is your issue? Is the download failing? does it complete
the download and not work? Are you unable to download it altogether?
  Thanks!

The download server is a little slow sometimes that is why we have torrent
downloads for releases. There is zsync and rsync if you do not want to download
a new image each day but don't want to have to wait. You will need to download
the first iso though or I remember someone saying you could use an earlier
release iso and then sync to the new one with renaming it but don't remember
quite what you must rename it.

      I've been trying several days,

      am i doing something wrong?
