I think that the LXQt Desktop session on Lubuntu 14.04 uses
~/.config/openbox/rc.xml and not ~/.config/openbox/lubuntu-rc.xml. To test,
I commented a particular keyboard binding (which makes a window 30% wide
and 70% tall and centers the window on the screen) in rc.xml and this
keyboard binding was turned off. Uncommenting the code turned it back on.

So if what I'm finding is true, users who do not have rc.xml but only
lubuntu-rc.xml and who use its keyboard bindings may face problems unless
they create rc.xml. Then, they'd also need to deal with commands that start
with lxsession-default.
