Hi,
I'd like to add that these 'tweak tools' are installed by default

I'm not sure there is such a thing as a lightweight video editor. Video
editing in general requires a lot of processor and memory. Also it
depends on what kind of video editing you want to do. Openshot is a
very simple video editor, and would be fine in Lubuntu. Not too sure
about Pitivi, when it used to be default in Ubuntu I found it to be buggy.
Openshot wont pull in all the KDE dependencies that KDEnlive does.... so
it will occupy less space, and possibly less ram.
There is a command-line firewall ufw It is usually installed by default.
open a terminal and type:
ufw enable
this turns it on.

It can be a bit hard to search for a current list of the best
lightweight apps... but
if you give us a list of apps, we might be able to help you find what
you are looking for
