Hi. Did you make any progress? I have a V5-573G and I am also looking for a way to run acerhdf to kill the right fan. I got it managed under Windows 7 but Mint 17 gives me a hard time. Anybody know how to find out the bios adresses which acerhdf is adressing? Best, Felix
