I'm the opposite. I actually like that things like this show up via searches. If I'm applying for a job and my future employer "Googles" my name and/or email address, I want them to see that I am active in these sorts of forums. I want people to see my contributions, whether I am the original poster who poses the question and is asking for help or if I'm answering and offering assistance. Though this only applies because I work in IT.
