=============================================== Hi everybody, Since January 01 2015 I had to put up with this too, in Knoppix 7.4.2. The PCManFM version in it is 1.2.1-1. So I took the matter in my own hands and concocted a hack. If you want to try it, please see the last thread on the Knoppix Forum: (The Knoppix.net Forums - Customising & Remastering - "7.4.2 - Desktop icon spacing in LXDE - Are you kidding???") It involves a patch for the debian sources and then the rebuilding of the debian package. If you have a different version of PCManFM, you can try to adjust the patch to your specific case, it shouldn't be very hard.
