15.04 is more compatible. It works with even the older i815
chip, as does the 14.04 Long-Term-Support system.
The 15.10 live DVD/USB boots to a blank screen with my machine
having an i815 graphics chip.
But 15.04 is reaching end-of-life in some weeks. Use 14.04 or try to
workaround the problem in 15.10. I assume using UXA acceleration is a good
idea.
