Hi everybody,
A. Great good news: the Ubuntu Startup Disk Creator alias usb-creator-gtk works, and I think it is likely to continue to work, because it clones the iso file now. This is version 0.3.2, which arrived at the Xenial daily iso file today. B. Minor bad news: Bug #1537836, papercut level infrastructure fixes But the infrastructure around it is not updated: 1. man usb-creator-gtk 2. usb-creator-gtk --version 3. the help text (there is no persistence now) and screenshot in the Ubuntu Software Center and Synaptic Please check that it really works for you, and that the infrastructure (documentation) is lagging behind. Mark affects me too (if it does) in the bug report https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/usb-creator/+bug/1537836/+affectsmetoo C. When we want a persistent live drive, we can use for example mkusb https://help.ubuntu.com/community/mkusb Best regards Nio -- Lubuntu-users mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/lubuntu-users
