To be more realistic, we are planning to have a LXQt version of Lubuntu available for 16.10. For the switch by default, it depends on the performance and the features parity with the LXDE one. This new ISO will make possible to do more tests, feedbacks and benchmarks from more users. Regards, Julien Lavergne
