I've been trying to install the LTS version (14.04.4 standard and
14.04.1 alternate). Both fail in the same way during the initial install
download with a failure to download. I've tried several servers and also
v12.04.4 with the same result. According to the log, the same file is
the culprit for all of these: a seg fault in libresolv while trying to
retrieve libcryptsetup4-udeb.
I've installed Linux many times in the past and have managed to resolve
issues as they cropped up, but I don't see any way to move forward on this.
I'm installing on an eeePC 901.
