Chris G: Thanks for the reply, well, I noticed this problem across two Macs, and multiple linux hard metal installs . . . . I do have a "persistent live" usb flash drive of Lu 19.10 . . . maybe I'll try to boot that and see if the tty works there . . . but seemingly on the full installs it just not like it was . . . .
