Hello Karl, I'm not sure if I understood your email 100% but this is what "I think" about the point you highlighted. To be honest, I used to think like you before not too long and then, I realized that there is much easier way or approach. People/Users don't really have to find a Lubuntu's Link on help.ubuntu.com if they seek help or whatever, they need to type "lubuntu" on google and the 3rd result will be: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu
https://help.ubuntu.com/ << this page is, IMHO, very bad start for a beginner or new comer. It is not even an index and it should NOT be a homepage for Ubuntu Help but I have no idea how to fix that or where to suggest a better page? I used to be stuck there when I was new but then, I realized that I need to use Google to find whatever I need and indeed, that was the key that saved my time and gave me whatever I need. Your page that you attached is GREAT and I LIKE IT but IMHO, it is much better for a website than a Wiki Page. Icons on the Wiki Page might be not very good idea and I think Phill or Chris have better answer because I'm NOT a Wiki Expert, I just didn't see that style on any Wiki Page before. In fact, that itself could be a plus. I mean, it's good that we be unique and have our own but again, we are an Ubuntu Variant so I guess we need to stick to their style. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong :) IMHO, we need one, two or even three pages which will work as an index, just like LOST and these pages should appear on google search first page when you search for lubuntu or help lubuntu, etc. Each page will have ALL the important links. Why Three? say one is the Website, one is the Wiki and other is a blog, a facebook page or Ubuntu Forum thread. Our Website MUST have ALL the basic and important link, period. Our website must be the FIRST STEP that anyone will go through to download lubuntu, help, etc etc etc. Currently, we are focusing MORE on the Wiki which still not 100% organized but I'm sure Chris and everyone are doing their best to achieve that. The current website is confusing so I do hope the new one will fix that issue. If the homepage of our website will be something like the attached design then WOW, that is a GREAT idea and +1 from me in advance. This is my thoughts :) You are doing a great job so keep it up and let's work as a team in order to achieve what we are dreaming about ;) I'm ALL for you guys!
