http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=16025 QueryParser throws ParseException with fuzzy search [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |INVALID ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-01-14 09:35 ------- OK, false alarm - worked fine with simple example. The problem was another piece of code silently altering the search string. If no hits were found with a simple term search, a wildcard was being added to automatically widen the search. But if the user had already used a fuzzy search, the search string would end up as "term~*" which of course is invalid.
