http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=27638 Compile error CVS head (3/12/04 - 2:55pm ET) ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-03-15 23:37 ------- Doug, I was thinking along the same lines (creating a named inner class, guessing that it was a 1.4 issue). However, the dynamic creation of inner classes has always been difficult for me to understand, let alone change. Even when I simply nulled-out the offending lines, more compile errors emerged. I have no idea how far this will cascade. However, if you can compile it as is in 1.4 and run it in 1.3, that is a workaround. (Can anyone quickly check this out?) But I think some kind of additional controls need to be implemented (for the current situation and others in the future) that we don't accidently introduce a JVM dependency. If we do that on purpose, then we can try to figure out the impact without a surprise. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
