I just copy/pasted! :)

I got tired of all the good stuff being on the NewFrontPage - we should remove the old one somehow, or at least clear its contents.

Thanks Erik for the move,

I tried to look at how to move thes pages. I discovered that the option to
rename and to remove don't seem to be enabled, then I got sidetracked.

cheers,

+Welcome to the [http://jakarta.apache.org/lucene Jakarta Lucene] wiki! We use the wiki for brainstorming, maintainance of a FAQ, a free-for-all link database, and lots of miscellaneous snippets. Feel free to contribute. See UsingLuceneWiki for more detail.

- '''TitleIndex'''
- A list of all pages on this wiki.
+= Overview =

- '''HelpContents'''
- A basic guide to the MoinMoin wiki (including information about wiki syntax).
+Lucene is a text search engine API.

- '''WordIndex'''
- A list of all the words that appear in the titles of the pages on this wiki, with links to pages that include that word.
+Specifically, Lucene is the guts of a search engine - the hard stuff. You write the easy stuff, the UI and the process of selecting and parsing your data files to pump them into the search engine, yourself.

- '''FindPage'''
- A full-text search of the wiki.
+You can find the Lucene project at:[http://jakarta.apache.org/lucene/]

- '''WantedPages'''
- All the "broken links" -- a list of all the pages on this wiki that are linked to, but do not exist.
+Lucene is high-performance, scalable, full-featured, open-source, and written in Java.

- '''OrphanedPages'''
- All pages on this wiki that are not linked to from anywhere else (and are thus very hard to reach).
