Re: the future of DateField

We use ISO 8601 dates (2004-08-17T12:00:00) in our app and the dates are 
set by the app. I don't use DateField, but I do have to use 
Field.Keyword which does not tokenize the string. Why can't Field.Text 
be used? In other words, why cant the date string be tokenized?
